Resultado de imagem para stratasys logoThe additive manufacturing leader Stratasys has announced a five-year cooperation agreement with the ACAM Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing, part of the renowned RWTH Aachen Campus to drive adoption of 3D printing.

Stratasys and the ACAM and RWTH Aachen campus wish to bring together their expertise and resources to further streamline the education and training in additive manufacturing offered at the centre. The company will now install a Fortus 450mc Production 3D printer to provide training and will be used for hands-on training in engineering courses and professional training.

Matthias Gukelberger, the Vice President and Head of Services in Stratasys, says that they wish to increase awareness of the benefits of thermoplastics for production, particularly in Germany where the focus for manufacturing and production is still very much on metal.
