This workshop encompasses utilizing Additive Manufacturing technology to produce prosthetics, surgical guides, and more. This course aims to describe the background, theory, and techniques related to intraoral optical images, utilizing with cone-beam CT radiographs to enhance visualization and assist in implant treatment planning and fabricating surgical guides. Additionally, participants will learn the procedures related to the treatment planning, treatment execution, and maintenance of denture prostheses. Participants will interact with a demonstration of 3D printing to learn how to generate models & prosthetics including post-processing and finishing procedures.
The objectives:
1. Understand principles, theory, and procedures of Additive Manufacturing technology;
2. Exposure to information related to image manipulation and stereolithography;
3. Acquire knowledge and confidence in utilizing optical images to preform denture procedures in-office;
4. Exposure to utilizing digital software to manipulate cases, prosthetic design, and additive manufacturing technology;
5. Become experienced with AM dentures and models to prepare them for use in prosthetic procedures
