ARBURG announces Guido Frohnhaus as Tech & Engineering Director Manager

In these days, Guido Frohnhaus has taken over as Managing Director Technology & Engineering at Arburg GmbH + Co KG in Lossburg, Germany. The 50-year-old engineer’s remit includes the Production, Research & Development, Materials Administration and Technical Administration departments.

Guido Frohnhaus brings the ideal qualities to his role as Managing Director at Arburg. For many years, he was employed at the Turck Group, one of the leading groups of companies in the industrial automation sector. 

Mr Frohnhaus was Managing Director at Werner Turck GmbH & Co. KG in Halver and he was responsible for the Development and Production departments. Prior to this, he was (around five years) VP of Technology at the Turck national subsidiary in the USA as well as several years working in management roles at an automotive supplier.

A Specialist in management and technology 

Guido Frohnhaus began his career as a toolmaker. He then went on to study mechanical engineering, specializing in manufacturing engineering, at the University of Wuppertal. While working in the USA, he also obtained a MBA from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. 

The Team Management

Over the past few months, the Technology & Engineering management division has been led on an interim basis by Managing Partner Juliane Hehl. Arburg’s senior management team is now once again complete and is made up of Managing Partners Michael Hehl (Plant Development and Spokesperson for the Management Team), Juliane Hehl (Marketing) and Renate Keinath (Human Resources Management), Senior Consulting Partner Eugen Hehl and Managing Directors Juergen Boll (Finance, Controlling, IT), Gerhard Boehm (Sales, Service) and Guido Frohnhaus (Technology & Engineering).
