The impossible is now possible!

Elementum 3D, an advanced metal additive manufacturing (AM) materials and parameters development company, will be showcasing their groundbreaking AL6061-RAM2% product at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, September 10-15 (Booth# 432403). AL6061-RAM2% is an aluminum 6061 material that achieves, for the first time in AM, properties comparable to wrought 6061-T6 on existing laser powder bed fusion equipment. Elementum 3D’s novel reactive additive manufacturing (RAM) technology has enabled the printability of a production quality 6061.

Elementum 3D’s mission is to expand the metal AM materials library; and importantly, new AM materials such as 6061 will introduce a new generation of users interested in capitalizing on the innovative design freedom of additive manufacturing,”

-Jacob Neuchterlein, Founder & President of Elementum 3D.

Aluminum 6061 is one of the most commonly used aluminum alloys and is widely used in aerospace, automotive, defense, and other industries. (Find more Additive Manufacturing Industry Materials)
